The Air Cadets offers a comprehensive training programme which aims to teach cadets the basics about flying, the RAF and field craft. Learning this is a core part of being an air cadet and the syllabus is taught through a variety of methods including lectures and hands on activities. The syllabus is designed to be taught at different levels, starting as a Junior Cadet before progressing to First Class, then on to Leading and then Senior. The higher levels are obtained after passing exams (but don’t worry, they’re nicer than school exams)
